Just a few weeks ago my family and I went to a birthday party for a co-worker of my husband. While we were there, I realized that Pinterest has made such and impact on so many people. I had seen this idea of photo collage on Pinterest, and now I was seeing it in real life, And it looked even better! So thanks to Pinterest I am getting more inspired to DIY everything.
In this blog I will show you how to make a photo collage that adds a bit of personality to your home. Please keep in mind to have fun with this and change it up a bit and add your personal touches.
I was able to find a cheap decorative curtain rod at Wal-Mart for just $6.44, and a black frame for just $3.00. Now the letters, I used in this project I had made a bout 3 Years ago and have been hanging up elsewhere in my home. The letters I used are the letters of the first names of my children. And I had painted them black and had mod-podged some black and white photos of each child on their own letter. I had some extra burlap around so I cut some into strips and used a hot glue gun to attach the burlap to the letters and frame, then tied around the curtain rod.
And that’s it! It”s done. Now remember, you could change it up a bit and instead of using the letters you could use more framed photos, or framed quotes would add a great touch as well. JUST MAKE IT YOUR OWN, AND HAPPY CRAFTING.
